Womens 1970s vintage traditional hand knitted Icelandic cardigan in cream and brown with adorable embossed plastic buttons. Cardigan comes with one of a kind handwritten note sewed into collar reading: “Reykjanoik Island Lopajakki – Icelandic cardigan in traditional pattern. Knitted by Bjorg Jonasdottir, aged 60, for me to got to Moscow. From in summer 1978. 7.” A lovely little story – and its rare to have an item with provenance like this… really sweet!
