Necklace and Brooch Set

Stunning 1960s  necklace and brooch set – or demi parure. This lovely set is made from silver-tone metal and features highly polished dark glass cabochons surrounded by clear glass rhinestones that sparkle delightfully.

The necklace fastens with a spring loop and the brooch fastens at the back with a safety clasp. Overall this pretty necklace and brooch set is in excellent condition, with almost no signs of wear on the silver tone metal. I note that the necklace looks to have been extended at a later date as the chain changes a little and the jump ring looks to be from a different metal material, and this metal has tarnished minimally – though it is hardly noticeable. There is also a minor chip to the brooch cabochon, though it is on the side at an angle not easily seen… A beautiful set, priced as is 🙂
