Golden rhinestone brooch
This dashing golden rhinestone brooch is made from cast metal (solid) and has a golden body with shiny orange glass rhinestones. The back of the brooch is golden, and has a straight pin with a safety clasp on the pin fastener to secure the brooch. This brooch is in good condition – tho we believe it possibly started life as a necklace and was later made in to a brooch; it is missing one tiny rhinestone but is very wearable in any case.
(If you like this you might want to look at some examples of costume jewellery by designer, Sarah Coventry, as it looks a lot like the designs she was creating at about the same time).
Measurements: 3.5 x 3.5 x 1.5

Why we love costume jewellery
Costume jewellery is classic and elegant, and can add a touch of decadence to any outfit, smart or casual. Vintage costume jewellery can be a great statement piece. It is also refreshing to know that you are unlikely to find two identical, so there is not much chance of someone wearing the same as you.
1960s metal costume jewellery in particular is usually weightier than its modern counterparts. These items of jewellery were made to last, and with one size fits all – make perfect gifts!
